3 veils of darkness

When i learned bout USG, this one doc. Her name dr. Khatijoh. She teaches me how to do USG.

One thing I adore her is that every mother-to-be come and check up with us.
She will asks.

"Tahu maksud Bismillah?"

"Tahu maksud Aghuzubillah?"

When the mother-to-be know the answer, she will give compliment and told them how important mother with a good knowledge bout Islam.

She is very inspiring.

Apart from giving advice from a doctor, she reminds people

She give me some of Qur'an words about Ultrasound before it was create it's written in Qur'an.

Masya Allah..

"He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation in three veils of darkness, such is Allah your Lord"
(Az-Zumar 39: 6)

And here some doa to recite for mother-to-be

"Dan aku mohon perlindungan-Mu untuknya anak cucunya dari (gangguan) setan yang terkutuk"
(Al-Imran 3:36)

Umat Nabi Muhammad SAW

Ya Allah SWT,
Janganlah Engkau hukum kami jika kami lupa atau
kami melakukan kesalahan.

Engkaulah pelindung kami, maka tolonglah kami menghadapi orang-orang kafir

Jual Ikan = Sell Fish

Selfish person is the person who only cares about em self.

or devoted to or caring only for oneself; concerned primarily with one's own interests, benefits, welfare, etc., regardless of others.

These few days I've been wondering why the called a person with such behavior is SELFISH. why the word is sell fish? u know, selling fish.

So here is a theory i made up on my own..

The person who selling fish will not have enough fish to eat. Therefore, they lack of omega-3-fatty acid.

As we all know, fish may have earned its reputation as “brain food” because some people eat fish to help with depression, psychosis, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Alzheimer’s disease, and other thinking disorders.

If the person is selfish ---> lack of omega-3 ---> prone to psychosis diseases or other thinking disorders.

my theory is simple, org selfish adalah org yang tak berape betul skit.

moral value: if you found one, just do em a favor. Giv em some omega-3 supplement! ! !

It just my imagination theory coz lately I've been dealing with selfish person.. so

forgive me for my craziness..

The Strangest Book

When the first chapter is full of roses and orchid,
I keep reading hoping for the happy ending.

Until you have taken my chapter out your book,
Now I'm just a prologue. A dedication.

Don't erase me so hard,
That other pages of the story also scratched.

You are my beginning,
But not my ending.

and that the strangest book ever.

Just Us...

What Is A Friend?
A friend is someone always there
in the back of your mind,
providing feelings of comfort and security.
A friend is someone
who adds happy sparkle to your life,
joy, fun, a predictable creator of happiness.
A friend is a stormproof shelter
from life’s challenges, troubles, uncertainties,
an unassailable bond overcoming any challenge,
strengthening the connection in the process.
You are all this and more, my friend.
Thank you.

Asal Usul Org Melayu

(sebab tue la muke kite same)

So it explain everythin.

Revolusi Mental

Sc.)

Nicotine Withdrawal

I made this entry especially for my Dad. He is now going through the rough patch of nicotine withdrawal. It's been a month and half since his last cigarette. Well, he promised me, before I graduate in Meds he will stops smoking. I made him promised before aged 50 yo he will definitely quitting smoking. Aminn.
For now I know how hard is it to overcome the urge to smoke, especially you started smoking since teenager.
Here are some review and tips for you.

This is a drug that contain inside the tobacco leaves. Not much different from Cocaine, Cannabis or Amphetamines. All of them gives an instant pleasure but hell later in live. What makes it differ from any other euphoria drugs is that nicotine is legal in the country. It's weird isn't it? Well, I blame it on the politics. The nicotine or tobacco industries does buy politics. So they can freely sell their self destructing drugs.

How does it works?
Nicotine is believed to produce its positive reinforcing and addictive properties by activating the dopaminergic pathway projecting. In addition to activating this dopamine reward system, nicotine causes an increase in the concentrations of circulating norepinephrine and epinephrine and an increase in the release of vasopressin, β-endorphin, adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), and cortisol. These hormones are thought to contribute to the basic stimulatory effects of nicotine on the CNS.

To cut it short, nicotine activated all ur happy hormones.

What is nicotine withdrawal?
Nicotine withdrawal occur when a person who is nicotine dependence stops smoking. The withdrawal symptoms can develop within 2 hours of smoking the last cigarette; they generally peak in the first 24-48 hours and can last for weeks or months.

The symptoms include:
  1. Intense craving for nicotine
  2. Tension, depressed mood
  3. Irritability, frustration or anger
  4. Difficulty concentrating
  5. Drowsiness
  6. Paradoxical trouble sleeping
  7. Decreased heart rate & blood pressure
  8. Increase appetite and weight gain
  9. Decrease motor performance
  10. Increase muscle tension
Tips to overcome the symptoms:
  1. Intense craving for nicotine --> healthy diet!
  2. Tension, depressed mood --> eat , love and pray!
  3. Irritability, frustration or anger --> Qur'an
  4. Difficulty concentrating --> need a lot of rest
  5. Drowsiness --> sit down and take a deep breath
  6. Paradoxical trouble sleeping --> exercise! exercise! excercise!
  7. Decreased heart rate & blood pressure --> It's ok, it doesn't effect your daily life.
  8. Increase appetite and weight gain --> watch out the calories!
  9. Decrease motor performance --> playing sports... such as golf! =)
  10. Increase muscle tension --> take your time to relax
Well, there's a simple tips for you. Not much helps, but so you know Mama, Kak In, Baam, Hani & Iza will always support you....

There is a medical treatment for quitting smoking. I know you've tried, but it doesn't work. Guess the main point in quitting is by the heart!

I know you can do it! You are half-way through.....

So proud of you....

Your daughter,
Kak In

Miss Complained

It's August people! Marhaban ya Ramadhan. I'm now doing my Paeds cycle in RS Simpangan Depok. It's a veeeeeeery small hospital which may consume only 15 bed max for children!

For major cycle, this is the first time I was assign in such 'cute' hospital for 10 hold weeks. My working hours starts from 8 am till 4 pm, and oncall every 2 days. To cut it short, basically i have lots and lots free time in the hospital. Where my patients only 2-6 tops.
I complained.

"Isk, RS kecik nak belajar ape?"

"My precious time is wasted in this freakin' Hosp!" *at wits end*

"Ok, dah habis follow up. Now what?"

"Ah, benci la hospital nie"

"Perawat itu bodoh, malas plak tue, ganti infus pun nak cari Coass! "

I complained. Complained. Complained. Everyday!

Till I'm tired of complaining.

Then I realized, if I was send in a big hospital where my patients is triple my work is double, would i be complaining too? Hell, yeah. huhu..
I'm such a complainer.

That's not good.

From now on, I will be grateful with what I have.

"Pasien skit pun tak pe la, boleh concentrate more on em"

"Oh, dah habis follow up, now i nak study la... then gonna watch CSI" Muahahah...

"Kakak nak suruh coass ganti infus? boleh2... I don't mine doing nurses work" At least i learning. Mane tahu nak bukak hospital sendiri ke nanti in future.

Ha...that's more I like it. =)

Optimistic Me.

Comfy or Sexy ?

One fine lovely day, while i was strolling at the mall. This one person caught my eyes. I saw this fully covered lady walking pass by me. She wears a rainbow colour hijab. Her face was natural, with just a light make up. That's enough to make her glowing and out-shinned everyone.

In the split second, contradictory i saw another different lady who wore very high skirts, super duper high heels, with her breast is half shown wearing a thin tube. Until it looked like she almost naked.

why we wear clothes in the first place?

For attention? For a charming rich guy come and ask to marry you? for people to notice you? oh yeah, for fashion? u know trend? That's all wrong people. Human first wearing clothes is.... to cover our body!

So, by looking at the second lady, do you think she is comfortable with what she is wearing? Does it worth to spend your time and money?

Think. And think clearly dearest women.lady.girl.

Happy thoughts

It's been some time since I'm into this blog-sphere. Well I barely got time to sit and ponder what should I write in my not-so-called blog. he-he.

I'm now doing ENT cycle in RS Husada, Mangga Besar. It was quite a bit relaxing cycle I have to say. Finally, i got some time on my own. You now, being a clinical year as a meds student. That's beyond crazy heaven on earth. More then anything u may asked for. Just finished my patient's exam last Saturday. Alhamdulillah, it when well. Thanks to the prayer from people so dear around me.

Before that, i was in RS Koja doing my obstetrics and gynecology cycle. I 'welcomed' total 15 babies in this world. It's the greatest feeling of all. But the time, the energy, the patience, the smells, the blood, the stomach grumbling that you have to put up with, its unimaginable.
Let's put up this way, the time i slept is the same time i charged my phone. Just imagine.

Anyway, next Wednesday. Finally. I'm going home. I. miss. home. so. badly. Ok what i meant is i miss Mama & Ayah so bad.
Even it's only for 4 days. But, I'm so happy!!!

So, what are some good things about your day lately?

I wrote this for you

I'm not trying to change the world for you. I'm just trying to make it easier to live in.

When you ask, ask Allah

Allah's kindness is very near to us. He hears all and answers our supplications. It is we who are full of shortcomings, and so we badly need to be persistent in our supplications. Boredom or hopelessness should never cause us to stop invoking Allah. We should humbly sujud on the ground and beg help from Allah. The best way to do is to ask Him.

"Invoke your Lord with humility & in a secret" (Qur'an 7:55)

If You ask, Ask Allah; and if you seek help, seek help from Allah

You Are That Person

You are that person
That I'm searching all my life
You are that person
Who I may never find

You are that person
Who I strongly believe
You are that person
Who many think doesn't exist

You are that person
Who I can talk to for hours
You are that person
Who I laugh with, and cry

You are that person
Who brings out the sun
You are that person
Who prove that rain is worth a rainbow

You are that person
Who makes my heart racing
You are that person
Who is my guilty pleasure

You are that person
That I'm searching all my life
You are that person
Who I may never find

You are that person !

My Mama

My Mama, my friend so dear
throughout my life you're always near.
A tender smile to guide my way
You're the sunshine to light my day.

You uphold truth and honesty,
Yet you chose me to deceive.
Your lying, lying and cheating heart
Played me for a fool from the start
My lips and body forever yearning,
While your ugly ways - I'm still learning
Even as the tears fall from my face,
I still long for your warm embrace.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned
But, I'm too weary, sad and forlorn.

by Beyonce

Listen to the song here in my heart
A melody I start but can't complete
Listen to the sound from deep within
It's only beginning to find release

Oh, the time has come for my dreams to be heard
They will not be pushed aside and turned
Into your own all 'cause you won't

Listen, I am alone at a crossroads
I'm not at home in my own home
And I've tried and tried to say what's on mind
You should have known

Oh, now I'm done believing you
You don't know what I'm feeling
I'm more than what you made of me
I followed the voice you gave to me
But now I've gotta find my own

You should have listened, there is someone here inside
Someone I thought had died so long ago
Oh, I'm screaming out and my dreams'll be heard
They will not be pushed aside on words
Into your own all 'cause you won't

Listen, I am alone at a crossroads
I'm not at home in my own home
And I've tried and tried to say what's on mind
You should have known

Oh, now I'm done believing you
You don't know what I'm feeling
I'm more than what you made of me
I followed the voice you gave to me
But now I've gotta find my own

I don't know where I belong
But I'll be moving on
If you don't, if you won't

Listen to the song here in my heart
A melody I start but I will complete

Oh, now I'm done believing you
You don't know what I'm feeling
I'm more than what you made of me
I followed the voice you think you gave to me
But now I've gotta find my own, my own

A very powerful song who might heal millions of souls...

Doctor vs Police

It happens during the holiday when I got back home from Jakarta. I can’t stop mumbling about stories how difficult my life is being a medical student. I keep telling my Daddy and Mummy how hard, hectic, chaotic, crazy life being a doctor.

We were on the way to Kampung, in the car I tell them all those horrible exaggerated true story about doctors almost the whole road trip…

Then suddenly my dad said:

Ayah: Being a policeman is much harder than being a doctor.

Me: No way. Being a doctor is much harder! We save LIVES for God sakes.

Ayah: A policeman. Do you know why?

Me: Why?

Ayah: We save LIVES and MONEY (possessions) !

Me: Oh..Psstt! -_-“

Doctor vs Police !
